2023 ASCE New Orleans Branch Outstanding Young Civil Engineer Award winner

Congratulations to the 2023 ASCE New Orleans Branch Outstanding Young Civil Engineer Award winner, Nicholas Scalfano, E.I. Nick has consistently demonstrated his commitment and excellence as a young engineer and ASCE member. This year, Nick has taken on multiple responsibilities, serving as Branch Younger Member Chair and Louisiana’s representative to and Chair of the Region 5 Younger Member Advisory Council. He notably led this year’s Younger Member Panel event, a milestone achievement for the Branch since 2016.

Currently working as a Water Resources EI at Fenstermaker, Nick has been instrumental in developing Hydraulic and Hydrologic models for significant LWI projects in St. Charles and Calcasieu Parishes.

In addition to his professional achievements, Nick has volunteered with organizations such as STEM NOLA, Family Missions Company, CRCL, Christ in the City of Denver, and Faith Camp in Abbeville, LA.
